Bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new—accumulating steadily to unleash great potential—

On December 30, 2018, under the bright winter sun, the picturesque town of Liuwang hosted a grand event: Sanxi Sponge’s 2018 year-end summary and the 2019 New Year’s Day staff sports meet. The year-end summary session lasted four hours, featuring four key segments: an address by the chairman, an annual work report delivered by the general manager, awards for outstanding employees, and a staff sports competition. Throughout the meeting, applause erupted repeatedly, and the atmosphere remained one of unity, proactive spirit, unwavering conviction, and determined progress.

The Exciting Three-Pronged Vision for Reform and Development—

At the outset of the meeting, Chairman Xue succinctly characterized Sanxi Sponge’s work in 2018 as a “year of consolidation,” setting the tone for 2019 as a “year of growth.” Following this, General Manager Peng elaborated: in 2018, institutional reforms laid a solid foundation, and in 2019, we will further enhance product quality and improve the working and living standards of our employees.

During the departmental summary session, Manager Peng noted that in 2018, a large cohort of young, dynamic talents emerged, injecting fresh enthusiasm and vitality into Sanxi’s growth. In 2019, they will continue to forge ahead with determination, shoulder heavy responsibilities, and write an even more brilliant chapter. Notable representatives include Manager Ma from the Marketing Department, Manager Xu from the Finance Department, Manager Zhu from the Logistics Department, Manager Pang from the Production Department, and Manager Guo from the Technology Department—each a key pillar of Sanxi. From the very early days of Sanxi Qingdao’s operations, they have delivered outstanding results in their respective roles, steadfastly embodying Sanxi’s spirit of “refusing mediocrity and striving for excellence.” They have served as the company’s backbone, earning unanimous respect and applause from all.

Following the meeting, the company organized a New Year’s Day sports event for all employees. Upholding the spirit of “unity and relentless striving,” everyone braved the bitter winter chill, eagerly gearing up on the factory grounds and showcasing their skills as they enthusiastically took part in various competitions. At that moment, the scene was filled with nothing but laughter and cheers—voices shouting, “Come on, come on!!” in a spirited bid to claim first place.
